These powder coated copper trays add a pop of color to your nightstand, desk, or coffee table. Use them to hold jewelry, accessories, and treasured objects, or stack them for a striking display on their own. Handcrafted in Pennsylvania by designer and metalsmith Megan Auman. Each piece is unique and made to order and slight variations will occur.

Metalsmith Megan Auman has turned her eye for color and form into a new collection of sculptural home objects. From decorative trays perfect for holding rings, jewelry, and other treasures to beautifully formed bowls that are sure to be a show-stopper on a shelf, coffee table, credenza, or nightstand, this collection blends traditional metal forming techniques with a modern take on powder coating to create unique art objects for the home.
The process:
Each piece in the collection begins life as a flat sheet
of copper before being hammered into shape by Megan in her Pennsylvania studio. Once the form is complete, Megan sifts powdered color on in layers to create a luminous, eye-catching surface that is then cured and hardened in an oven. Finally, the organic edge of each piece is filed and polished to expose the beauty of the raw copper beneath.
